Warranty question on used purchase

What's the general consensus on purchasing a warranty? I'm looking at a e92 50k miles, 1 owner and always serviced at the same BMW dealer.

They're offering a 50k 4 year warranty for about $4k.

Should I go for it or no?

I can get you another 5 years and 100,000miles of coverage (2019 or 150kmi whatever comes first) for under $4k. PM me for the details. It's also ZERO deductible. It's the companies Platnum protection so it pretty much covers everything but wear and tear items.

i highly recommend it. purchased my car at 48k and at 56k my evaporator went out. it's a 3.2k repair and quite common on the m3. read up on it, so you don't make a big mistake. better safe than sorry. btw my extended warranty covered it, no problem.
