Winter wheels?

Hey guys, curious what you you are running for your winter set. Doesn't seem to be as many options for the X5 as there have been on my previous cars. Any input and pictures are appreciated!
Thanks.

I am running 20" X5 replica wheels on 20" Blizzaks, lots of sets on ebay for under $800

Winter is almost half the year here so I'd rather have something that looks good.

You can use the E70 X5 wheels as a search criteria and there are a wide range of selection

Absolutely, I'm running a 275/40/20 on all 4 corners and it drives just as well as it did on my 18" Blizzaks if not better.

I'm swapping my 20" 469m staggered wheels to the 19" 467m wheels with Pirelli Scorpion Winter Run-flats 255/50-19.

Swapped over to my set today. 449s with Pirelli Scorpion. Because of a cock up at order my dealer went 50/50, swap and store my summer set and are liable for replacement tyres while I have the vehicle.

Take a little getting used to after 20s. Here are some pics.

I was looking into a wheel/tire setup but read this thread and I may just get Conti DWS 20"s instead, they are only $1000 for all four tires and I get to keep the 20" look in winter:

Granted they are not "snow" tires, they seem to be pretty good from the reviews on tire track for light snow & wet conditions.

Too early to tell yet. I've only driven from the dealers back home but definitely softer and quieter on the 19s.

Now all we need is some cold weather and snow.

Do you store yours at home?

Hi. Yes in the garage; off to ATS next week rather than my dealer.
Who did yours?

BMW. They are storing them and swapping them over as part of the deal.

Your X5 looks awesome with the 449 tire/wheel set up. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
