Question for people that have SO leather?
After having it for awhile, does the novelty wear off? Does it ever feel to loud, tacky, or bright?
Sorry for the question, but I have gone black on black for my last 3 cars and now I am going AW/SO (big change) I am finally good with the AW, but the second guessing of leather has now begun. If I did not get SO I would probably go CS cloth FWIW, I have moved to other countries with less second guessing and fussing over minute details. |

Have MG and SO, I like it..... And would order again. I've always done black (e90 was silverstone / black, and cars before that). Wanted something different.

I have mw/so and LOVE it. So does everyone that sees it. Had the car since June and no sign of getting tired of it. Every time I see a pic of a black interior on this forum, it looks boring. BTW - I stressed over ordering it also - absolutely no regrets. I strongly recommend full leather however.

I've got an AW/SO full leather M3, absolutely no signs of problems with it but only 4,000 miles to date. It looks really good inside an AW car, I couldn't imagine having a plain black interior ever again.

I have AW/SO and get tons of compliments on it. More red than burnt orange, but still better for me than black. Black is too hot here in Texas.

I personally love red interiors, hence why i order SO interior on my MW. I feel like black is too much black and white with the black wheels and if you were to do black kidney grill/side gills. If I had not gone with white, I probably would have chosen SS interior.

SO/SO here too...everyone that has seen the interior absolutely loves it and so do I. It is not as loud as it appears in some pics...

I have the now ubiquitous AW/SO. The SO is pretty loud. Unlike my black interiors, I worry about it showing dirt (grease from a dropped French fry, kid's muddy shoe). I also worry a bit about it showing a lot of wear on the seat bolster over time. I'm not wide and I've always been conscientious about lifting my butt over the bolster, but I still haven't figured out how to get out without some dragging. But the SO spices it up a bit, so I still love it. YMMV.

SO Leather
Have it in Full version - matching stitching on the dash is nice. Don't think I will tire of it.
