EMG auto from NJ buys car from auction

Hello everyone,

Does anyone from NJ knows about this company?
They have a 2013 m3 with only 10.000 miles for 54k. But after looking at the carfax, this car was bought from auction.

Since I am new in the US, can anyone tell me if its too much risk to buy from auction? Dealer is willing to send the car for inspection at bmw to make me more confortable.

Thanks!

FYI most of the cars that BMW takes in from lease ends sit on the lot for some time (45 days?) then go to auction to move them quick. There's nothing wrong w/ a car from an auction just do your due diligence.

Check the car out, auction doesn't mean it will be a bad car, just perform due diligence as you would any used car, car fax, have a mechanic check it out or get a PPI, have bmw dealer check the vin and ensure warranty and service history, etc.
