I have an 02 x5 3.0 with 130,000 miles on it. It's leaking oil pretty bad. Attached are some pics when I look down into the engine bay I can see dried oil that spilt out from somewhere on the shielding at the bottom.

What are you asking us here? Tough to make a diagnosis based on a few pics. With most leaks like that, it can sometimes be tough to narrow down the source. I typically give the engine bay (top and bottom) a good steam clean or pressure wash, get all the old oil and residue off the engine...then over the following days, monitor the leak and see if you can track down there its coming from. At this point it could be anything, valve cover gasket, rear main, pan gasket, etc...
