Another ordering question.

Hey guys, I'd like order the car end of Dec, however I really wouldn't want delivery of the car until very end of FEB, or early March. (At the very earliest) I'm assuming (pending they get the wheel issue fixed) the time from order to delivery is 4-8 weeks?

I'd rather not pick up the car in the dead of winter in Feb. Is there any control over the delivery date?, or do I see if dealer will hold car at dealership (not likely) or do I just push the order until spring?

Thanks

It takes typically 6-8 weeks. You should be fine. Worst case you specify a date for delivery or tell the dealer to hold.

I ordered my car last month. Am breaking a lease early and really don't want to take delivery in the winter months (but need a 4 door really soon due to a new addition to my family). So I opted for March delivery, if dealer has an allocation shouldn't be a problem at all.

Keep in mind that if you plan to do anything before April next year, you'll probably be renting winter tires. The rental is pretty expensive as is, so much that you can rent a Mercedes E from MUC for less!
