2011 135i exhaust rattle

Hey everyone,

I just picked my car up from the dealer, they replaced the vanos bolts and everything went well. When I dropped it off I had my advisor listen to this rattling noise that was coming from the rear exhaust. He heard it and made a note of it. Long story short, apparently they could not replicate the noise. Upon starting the car in front of the SA, we both clearly heard it. He asked if I would bring the car in next week so I could have their foreman listen, which I am planning on doing. I just wanted to see if anyone has had a similar issue on their 135I? I'm writing this from my phone so I'm having a difficult time embedding the video.

Hey, have you pulled your exhaust actuator vacuum line?

If not, get under the left hand rear bumper and pull it, then start the car and see if it happens. Just a hunch on what it sounds like to me.

That's the exhaust flap opening and closing the left exhaust tip.

I had a feeling it was probably related to the exhaust flapper. I've done the golf tee mod in the past but as it sits now, everything is back to stock.Any ideas on why that click is so audible now?

Mine was super loud too. Just notice it more if you're not used to it I think.
