New Alpine White 135i Purchase
Finally pulled the trigger! Loved my twin turbo S4's but unfortunately their reliability is just a bit out of reach these days - starting up two businesses means less time to turn wrenches in the garage as well. Was looking for a suitable turbocharged sports-inspired luxury car - didn't take long to realize the 135/335 are great options.
2 owner 2008 White/Gray 135i. (my favorite color combo) Incredible example all around and looking forward to getting a few things done. Was surprised to find it has power folding mirrors, rain sensing wipers, and a few other options. Here's some photos from the drive back (purchased in San Francisco and just got home to Denver.) Front plate removal, tint and Euro Headlights go on this week. The Audi: The 135 on the drive all taped up for 1,200 miles back home:

That is a great looking color combo. Congrats!
I will bet the drive was fun, you probably really got a chance to know your 135. How does it compare to your old Audi?

Ah, the B5 S4's. I love them, too (I owned a modded B7 A4 Quattro and a K04'd TSI 8P A3 Quattro ). Couldn't bring myself to ever own one due to the reason you got out of yours. Good choice in replacement. Enjoy.

Congrats!
I recognize that car, I was looking at that one when I was buying. The interior was the deal breaker for me. Dove gray was too hard to keep clean in my last E46. Looks great tho. |

Thanks!
Debating the clear bra. Just don't want that yellow-tint to start happening on it. My white S4 wasn't cleared and not a single chip over 50k miles. Maybe I just got lucky! Quote:
Pretty much Apples/Oranges to the Audi. The comforts of the BMW are significantly better (expected for a car 8 years newer). The N54 building instant torque is AWESOME. The S4 is no slacker in the low end department, but BMW did something great with the N54. Top end leaves a bit desired on the BMW as far as 'fun' goes. It sounds like the JB4/AP is a good way to alleviate that. The 135i in the handling department is no comparison. The S4 feels like a pig. Quote:
Thanks! It's funny how certain things trigger purchase (or non purchase) decisions. While I think the Coral Red would have been great, I absolutely love light/grey interiors and prefer it to the standard black any day.

Looks like a great car! Unusual color combination with the light gray interior, but I'm still digging it!
