Armrest Lid replacement
The latch on my Armrest has snapped again for no reason. This is the second time with the first being replaced under warranty. Anyone know how to get the top lid off before i go prying on things? It looks like there are two trim pieces on the side that just pop off that would give me access to what i need?

Has the lid broken when you are closing it? If so, they're meant to break when you have too much stuff in the little compartments.

Nope never open it. Compartment is completly empty. Ist time came out to the car and the lid is just open from the latch being broken. 2nd time lift the entire lid to put the ipod in the pocket and lid just flys open from the latch breaking. I rarely drive the car. only has 12k miles and on its 2nd lid in 4.5 year.

Maybe something is wrong with the bottom part? If you never use it I'd just 2side tape the sucker down forever.
