Blind spot warning update without drivers package

I ordered the side and top view cameras in hopes that this would give me the blind spot warning triangles but it doesn't

My mirrors have the triangles any chance there will be a software update in the future to add this?

I def didn't want the lane departure in the drivers package but the blind spot was not offered separately.

You need Drivers Assistance Plus (which requires the executive package) for the Active Blind Spot Detection to work.

If you're asking whether or not you'll be able to code or retrofit the blind spot option, I'd place a very large wager on no. While the triangles might be on your mirrors, it's likely that there are many components that are missing

I have every option except drivers assistance package and the CCB.

I still have the triangles in the mirrors. Just wasn't sure if there was a reason for this or if it was just part of the side and top view mirrors

Do you have a small storage space or little glove box on the driver side near the door (otherwise known as knee destroyer if you forget it down)?

If you do (I am almost 100% positive you do) then your missing all the electronics/wiring and probably the camera (not sure about the cam, on the F30's I was told if you don't have DA pkg then you have no cam). However you may be able to tap into the lights in the mirror and find a way to make it flash for fun

I don't have the package and there are triangles on my mirrors. No doubt BMWs subtle way to constantly remind me that I am a cheapass.

nah.. its just more cost effective to only produce one mirror housing.
