F83 PDC

Quick question - anyone know if the PDC has convertibles?

First of all, I think the whole concept of picking up your car at the PDC is amazing. Drive the heck out of their car and then baby yours in during the break-in period on the drive home.

From what I've read, even if you've ordered a manual transmission, they only have the DCT at the PDC. I'm wondering if I'm getting an F83, do they have those there as well, or do we think I'll be driving an F82 there? Are there any other forum members picking up an F83 at the PDC?

Just got my confirmation for Nov 3rd yesterday - seems really far out, seeing that my car was finished on 9/1 - and is just sitting waiting for a boat right now. Either way, anticipation is killing me.

I did M School a couple years ago and there were zero verts to be seen. My guess is you either get a F80 or F82 to drive. Congrats on your new baby! The wait sucks. I'm going on 9/25. Counting the minutes...

I had November 3rd as my PCD date too. But i just cancelled it the other day. Decided the possibility of getting the car a few weeks early out weighed the benefits of PCD. I see youre a NCSU grad. Go wolfpack.

I'm waiting to PCD my F83. The car finished production on 7/15 (according to BMW NA), and hit the VDC on 8/20. I still don't have a date; but I expect to be contacted by the PCD over the next business day or two. My assumption was that I'd be driving an F82 during PCD.

I'm surprised you don't already have a date... but let us all know when it is, and what they end up giving you to drive. It's gotta be any day now
