Independence II 9/2 Departure

Alright folks, I know we have a few with their cars on this boat, which I believe just left port. Mine is due to arrive Brunswick VPC on 9/22. What about the rest of y'all?

I'm on the same ship waiting on PCD. SO / SS extended M4 DCT. Did cause some minor damage to the passenger side bumper scrape guard in Italy so I dont know if that will get fixed or not.

Yeah, I had a small scrape on the bumper as well. Received confirmation from BMWNA that they would fix it as long as it was listed on the condition form (which it was). I'm just hoping the VPC delay isn't too long.

Looks like mine made it on the Independence II as well. Scheduled to be in NY on 9/17.

Mine's on its way here, but my VIN isn't showing up on the W&W site yet. . .the schedule lines up with the Independence II's, though, so I'm guessing that's it. Anybody have any other tracking methods?

Mine is on Independence II as well; but I had some major issues while in Italy (my wheels and tires were stolen, and the thieves tried to rip off the spoiler and broke it in half and damaged the trunk). So they will need to fix those things at the VPC.

The W&W site says that it will be in NY on 9/18. I imagine a week in customs, 2-3 weeks getting fixed, then another week in transit to my dealer. I took delivery in Munich on July 15.

Yours was the YMB M3 yeah? I did ED on on 8 August and was paranoid as hell driving through Italy after seeing your post!

I am also on Indy II. Hell waiting for her to emerge from the black hole and start showing up on the marine tracker. NY on 9/18? A day late? Aaaagh. All I had was a miniscule rim scrape, hope that does not slow transit through VPC.

Looks like it is in Halifax Canada now, few more days to Florida. If the bumper is slightly is damaged will it be kept at VDC in New Jersey?

Yup, in and out of Halifax. Took her good time at mooring. I don't know if they would repair your bumper at NY or Brunswick -- probably Brunswick.

I'm assuming that's the status update on the MyBMW website. My status update is still at stage 3: "En route to the US", which makes sense since mine is going to Brunswick.

Update - My car got off the boat in NY on 9/19 and is already on a truck to the dealer. Scheduled final delivery is 9/25.

Call your dealers if your car was scheduled to go through the NY port.
