For those scheduled for production between weeks 37-39: is your production date already confirmed according to the 1800 number?

I never asked for the production week but I have a confirmed ED end of September, so I'm guessing a 37/38 week production. The 800 number still says not confirmed.

Same week 39 but recording still says no confirmed production date.

Fingers crossed! If it delays again not sure what to do as I'm flirting with end of lease extension of 6 mos. Ordered in march

I have a Week 36 production date…they have been telling me that on the 800 number for about six weeks. About 10 days ago, my CA said that everything was still lining up for Week 36, then last Thursday (end of Week 35), my car went into production with a estimated completion of 9/4, this Thursday. I thought I was a week early, but really a few days…but I'm not complaining, and it will be completed before the end of Week 36 if it stays on track. I think once they give you a date, it seems like most people are in production by that date or a little earlier…just my observation from the last two months on this forum...

Thanks to all for their updates. Just called BMWNA and was informed that production is confirmed to be completed by week 41 (!) and that it is likely to go into production week 36 (this week). Frankly, this is not very helpful. Reached out to my CA to see if they have more specific info.

Yes! My car was scheduled for Week 38 production but I just logged in and saw that it was "in production"...So I called the automated line and it stated an estimated completion date of September 5.

How long from completion date to dealership, typically?

Best "Monday" in a long time!

For those who are seeing slippage instead of the happy news of moving up, any thoughts on car spec that could be causing delay (color, option, etc?). I ordered an M3 on August 9th and am running 4 weeks later than what dealer had told me at time order was placed (said that had a slot they were holding). Doing MG with black interior, black wheels, executive package, LED lights, DCT, S&T Cameras, adaptive suspension, H&K stereo. Nothing too out of the ordinary, though there doesn't seem to be lots of delivered MG cars out there.

One other thing I have noticed is My BMW does not have accurate information on my car yet (says it is a white M3 that was already built) and the 1-800 number doesn't give a build week. Dealer now telling me week 40. So seems it takes quite a while for the systems to catch up to reflect orders properly.

I was told a few weeks ago that the reason for my delays was the 19" wheels. I ordered the black ones.

The only other options I got were extended black leather and adaptive suspension. My car is sakhir orange, which could be a reason for delay since it's less common and they're waiting for a large batch to do at once.

"Your order was accepted on September 1st, and is scheduled for production" is what the young lady said to me today. She told me the exact time it was "accepted" yesterday. However I have no idea what that means since bmwusa.com has been telling me my order has been accepted and on its way to production for over a month, and same thing when I called the 1800 number over the past couple weeks. Kind of confusing.

Anyways, I was week 36, than 34, than 37, now it sounds like im 39. Might not check again for a month.

That's almost exactly what I was told today too. My dates are also slipping up and down. Doesn't make any sense. Frustrating. Got to stop calling...

try deleting your production number off of your MY BMW profile and adding it back. when i first entered my production number it gave the wrong color..when i deleted and re-added it was fixed. I called BMW to verify and they confirmed it as well. worth a shot at least.
