YMB F80 Ordered Today

For the past several weeks, I've been lurking here sometimes several hours a day, while debating an E90 vs F80 purchase.

I knew for sure I wanted a 6MT sedan, and if it was going to be an E90, it would have to be a low mileage 2011 (no sedans since) with Competition Package, unmodified, and with low mileage. Being a Canadian in Vancouver makes the search for a nice manual sedan even harder, due to a smaller market, so it came down to a US import vs a new 2015 order from the dealer.

To make a long story short, I placed my F80 order today and went for a pretty basic setup:

Manual Transmission
Adaptive M Suspension
Carbon Fibre Trim
YAS Marina Blue Metallic
Carbon Anthracite Cloth/Leather

Anyway, a big thank you to all of you that contribute such great content here. I found this community very helpful and saved thousands through both decision making on certain options I was able to rule out, and negotiating a great price on my order based on some of your experiences.

Thanks especially to those of you contributing Canadian specific content. Very helpful...

Looks like I've got an October build and a late November, early December delivery here in Vancouver.

I did likewise from YYC today, slightly later build (November) and delivery date - which is fine as it is still arriving mid-winter for me.

Well, it will arrive just before spring (likely Feb) so that is kind of patient....
