BMW CCA owners: Have you mounted your badge?

Looking for opinions on where to mount my BMW CCA badge on the 1-series. Post pics if you've done it!

I'm not really a fan of mounting it on the front grille due to the size of the badge, was debating either mounting it in the grille in the air dam up front, or somehow next to my license plate in the rear.

It's that massive Continental US shaped badge with Bavarian flag checker on it right? Ick.

There are a few different ones.

The original:

And some limited ones:

Flag:

Racing flag:

///M stripe:

You can get one by either renewing your membership for 3 years, or by purchasing one from the CCA store if you're already a member. I personally went with the M-colors one, as I thought the darker overall look would go better on a black car.

I'd agree that the badge is rather large and doesn't look good mounted on the front grille of newer cars. Works better on something like an E30 where you can mount it on the front grille outside the kidney part. Hence my search for other mounting options.

Thanks Worra. I think it looks cool but I agree. The front grill is the wrong spot. Perhaps in the engine bay somewhere. Lol that's where Greg would put it. Right over his bolt sticker.

How'd I get dragged into this?!

Besides, I don't HAVE an aluminum bolt sticker anymore. GONE!

What about on the trunk somewhere, maybe on the left where the M usually goes. =P

Or, in the holes in your new sideskirts? Kidding, obviously it's too big to go there.

It's grille or bust I think if you want to go on the car unless you want to disrupt your airflow somewhere else on the front.

+1 a grille badge looks much better on the classic Bimmers:

Why not put a BMWCCA sticker on a rear side window instead?

I've tried that but, it just doesn't look good. Wish you could get it w/ a clear background instead of the white.

Do you need more discreet?

Lol. Took me a minute to figure out what the heck you were talking about. Have no idea why that showed up like it did.

But you're changing the subject (and everyone knows it)! Just get that badge put on and flash some pics and we'll stop "dragging" you into this
