Time from Production start to Completion?
For the last week, Ive started my day by checking the progress of my build on bmwna.com. I have a production number, and I have it linked to my online BMW account.
For those of you that have already been through this process, how long was the build process? From "production Begins" to "Production Ends" what can I expect to see as far as build time? My ED is 5 weeks away and Im hoping it will pop up soon so I can quit worrying about this.

Wow. Was not expecting that. Shouldn't underestimate the Germans I guess.
Great info, appreciate the response.

For me; start date was 7/30, completion and quality control check was done by 8/14. This seems pretty typical based on what I have seen over most of these sites.

My F80 started production (Status 150) on 7/23 and was completed on 8/4. Originally scheduled to be completed on 7/31, but slipped on 8/2 and then finally done 8/4.

Once it starts it goes pretty quickly and tracking it online is pretty fun, I can only imagine the day I get to see her at the dealership and the drive home.
