OSS or no?
Man I'm struggling, still trying to figure out how a 2012+ LCI 1 series didn't come with better factory angel eyes when 2011's 3 series coupes came with them already, cause of the 2 series?
Anyway-- I'm debating doing OSS and thankfully have the luxury of being local to Luis at OSS Designs (close enough about 30 minutes) Something about opening up the headlights from factory just irks me, but the alternatives like LUX and DTEC are just not good enough for people looking for that OEM design Thoughts? My color is BSM, should I also paint the inside of the headlights black? I kind of like the clear look Something along the lines of: how do you think that will look without blacking out the headlight design http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=877009 |

If you are local it's a no brainer. The ONLY thing keeping me from doing it is down time, I don't need the car daily but it would be a PITA to have it down for weeks on end. OSS is a busy ass shop from what I gather.

I would love to offer my services, but I think I need to retrofit my parent's 1er (Which will be soon!) and show it off to gain the trust of other forum members.
White phosphorous coated LED halo's FTW!! Mine are coated yellow , if only I waited a year...

The car will look amazing thats for sure.
Now it is up to you to see if it is worth it to spend 800$+ on LED angel eyes.

I also have a BSM finish and the OSS lights really match the look. if you have the LCIs, I'd definitely invest in getting them done and having the eyelid matched properly. It looks awesome.
If you're only looking for angel eyes, OSS is overkill. If you want to do the housings, OSS is where it's at. For what it's worth, I also had an issue post-install with a ring shorting out. Luis fixed it up, no hassle, no expense on my part. Also, the lights don't leak or anything like that. pic: |
