Anyone on the Columbia Highway (ship)?

If you are, looks like we disembarked Bremerhaven yesterday and are currently sailing between Ipswich and Amsterdam!

YEAH!! Just got off the phone with BMWNA, I'm on this ship!

Naturally my SA failed me again, getting so used to that. Now if they would just release my car from the Monroney hold, hopefully that will happen prior to the car hitting Brunswick.

EPA hold. It's listed on my status sheet from my SA. BMWNA says there is a hold on my car, it's a vert and one of the first into the states. Basically it's the emission, fuel mileage and CARB release. I really don't believe it as the F83 was in the same test as the F80/F82. All paperwork was signed off on May 22. But I'm being told the hold is still there? We'll see in a few weeks I guess.

PCD. I wonder how long it takes to get there and through VDC. I am thinking the car will be waiting there for a week or so before I have my delivery.

Ship is in sight of Virginia Beach!! Was scheduled to arrive in Baltimore at 1900 today. Looks like we may be in early.

We will be earlier, the 1900 is UTC. So Eastern time is 1500!!

This does not look or sound good. Damn ship has gone past Brunswick and is almost at Fernandina Beach! And the status of the boat is listed as "Not under command" So much for getting the car on Monday. Googling not under command comes up with bad juju....

I saw that, I think it is in a "holding" pattern to go into the port, may be ahead of schedule, or the one before may be behind.

Yeah I finally figured that one out, but now it's late getting in. Did another weird thing once in the port area. Almost there now. This threw our plans off big. Oh well, always next week. Should be on land soon at least.
