Opinions on wheel color?
I recently purchased a 09 jerez black e92 m3. I've decided on VMR 710s for wheels, but not sure what color would work well with jerez black. I don't want to use gloss black because my past 3 cars I had gloss black wheels. But I feel jerez black having the tint of blue is harder to put wheels on. any suggestions?

Gunmetal gray or anthracite would look good, especially if you have any CF pieces on your car.

do you happen to have any photos you could post? I'm interested to see how it looks. also, is there much difference between gunmetal and anthracite? I thought they were pretty much the same color.

I went with gloss Anthracite on mine and think it turned out great (they almost look matte sometimes depending on the light). The stock ZCP wheels look good in their own right, but they are a little too silvery.
Here are some photos of the pre-powder coating and post - Had them done at BMW of Austin for $185 per wheel, which also included a complete refinish so all of the nicks and curb rash were completely eliminated.

Gunmetal would look awesome. It's quite dark and not the typical black.

I think it would be just enough color difference to see its not jerez black. Im also thinking about doing the regular hyper silver, but just afraid it will be a little to subtle.

Here's mine, with Forgestar gloss gunmetal, which isn't too dark.

Yeah I like that a lot. You may have just made up my mind. I like the gunmetal on jerez black. I just don't want to go too crazy with colored wheels. But I feel regular hyper silver is just a bit too conservative.

I've seen tons of gunmetal wheels on Jerez black so I went with something a little different. Finish is a VMR powdercoat finish called sunken treasure. It's a really dark bronze that shines gold in the light. Everyone that sees these wheels in person can't believe how good they look. My 2 cents...
