I think some weekend overtime to finish your car is the least they could do!

Sorry, its one of my secrets, and only works for local cars here

The USA has a nice tracking system for owners of ordered cars, I wonder if european countries have something similar

Hi E90Fleet

I placed my order for a 325i Exclusive, Sat Nav, etc at the beginning Jan 2006 and it arrived at the dealer in Cape Town on Friday . Built March 2nd, according to the BMW owner circle page. Going to see it tomorrow and hope to get it by Wednesday, once I get the tracker transfer sorted out from my current car.

I'm really surprised I got it so quickly as the SA predicated 4 months. Was a nice surprise in February when I was told my RFI was March 11

Not in the UK, but the dealer did keep me informed of its progress. In my case it was always good news. The original estimate was six weeks, but the delivery dates kept getting better. In the end, order to delivery was about 31 days

Fleet, you'd better be cleaning the camera lens. If we don't see some photos pretty quickly after you get your car we will charter a flight to SA to deal with you!

We're all excited for you...

Fleet,

A well deserved Congrats.

I am intrigued by your "goodies" you have in waiting. Can you give us a list of them and also, where you got them from.

Who knows, maybe we can dice each other down the Streets of Sandton someday as I am considering buying a chip but am just waiting clarity as details they gave me on it's performance didn't tie up. For starters, they said KW b4 chip was 141 and after 155. (I probably need the chip to make car same as yours (Man vs Auto))

Here I was thinking 325's were 160KW standard.

P.S. My Insurance co is insisting on Matrix although my previous cars had Tracker which is my preference... I hate "conditional selling"
