Also, the board management. Folks have plenty of latitude here when posting things that are either not relevant or better suited for a different section. Nobody beats them up for it or moves things around. Yeah, we get watch threads, but people feel empowered to talk about shit that they care about and others (generally) engage on the topic. Really makes for a nice welcoming feel.

Hell, if this was planet-9, this thread would have probably (and arbitrarily) been moved to "981 Sales and Leasing". Really takes the fun out if it, when a few individuals control content with such rigidity.

Good point.

Planet-9 was a bit, well, rigid. Certainly not as fun!

There's also less moderation here (Zpost) than on other parts of the larger forum, at least in my experience. M3 post--at least a few years back--needed a lot of supervision. Perhaps there's less here because this group doesn't need much oversight? (Or maybe the forum oversight has changed a bit too.) As a result we may have more latitude.

I'm fine with the health and fitness and watch stuff BTW--just find it odd that its shows up in some views. Like I said earlier, not a big deal. It's a good group here--and folks are willing to spend some time to share experience or to help research and solve problems.

vwvortex.com and quattroworld.com are two good forums. A lot of the original Audiworld guys are now on quattroworld.

It's funny, I came from audi ownership and too found the quality of knowledge and willingness to share it on this board to be outstanding. On the Audi side of things i was on audiworld and found very little in the way of advice, a lot of meets and drives but not much real substance, not like here. The folks here just rock on that front. Now if we could only get to organizing more get-togethers in this part of the world...
