seems like a few of these scam stories have popped up over the last week, but in every situation the forum bands together and collectively shits on the scammer. its fun to watch, and gives me confidence in dealing here. also, i use paypal and don't send money as a gift so i really don't have much to worry about anyway.

First off the guy was completely normal up front and not fishy, things got fishy after i bought it, and are you realy the only person on this entire forum talking crap to me? Or am i mis understanding what you just posted

She was crazy, that was the point, the entire story doesnt simple have to explain that i was ripped off, the entire story paints a picture of exactly what happened. And it was through text not over voice. And was completely uncalled for.

Point being others have been ripped off by this same person, and you coming on here trying to troll a thread for no reason is fucking pathetic. Get a new hobby.

I almost bought something for @$300 off a member here with less than 30 post, most of which were for selling stuff, no itrader rating. He gave me his paypal email and wanted me to just send the money. I told him to send me a bill stating what I am buying and for how much. He sent me a bill, but (been a while and not a paypal expert) there were two areas you can enter info. On discription, it was blank. On some irrelevant section that I am sure was not accountable is where he entered what it was. And the only way I could pay was via 'gift'. I tell him to redo it where it's not a gift and it states what I am paying for and was told that is not possible. So I didn't buy.


Is it possible for people to list what they are selling? I'd assume so since all my ebay purchases do.

The seller can definitely send you a Paypal invoice requesting payment and list in the comment section what you are buying. Don't send payment as a "gift." If you do send a payment make sure you select payment for goods. In the payment you can put in the comments section detail info of what the payment is for and there's a section to pick the shipping address.
