Bad deal w/ a person named Gavin Carter..

So i ordered this exhaust from this guy last week, seemed really fishy to begin with, price was a little too god.. Was supposed to be here on friday, then saturday then still nothing on monday, check the tracking number and its not even the right one, it was completely wrong in EVERY way, went to the wrong place, from the wrong place.

So i text him and his GF replies saying she has his phone and she is a complete psyco... i was calm said i planned to put the money on hold until i talked to him, she then proceeded to call me an "arrogant douche" for absolutely no reason..

What is this stuff coming too, what happened to a nice simple transaction these forums?

Hopefully you didn't send money as a gift. And TBH if I'd seen something I wanted on this site, id tell them to list it on Ebay first then I'd buy it through paypal just for the extra security.

So tired of these shady characters ruining it for the rest of us good sellers.

I can't stress this enough. Make your decisions based upon quality of correspondence, and if a deal seems off, or too good to be true- walk away- it usually is.

I have had folks gift me on nearly half my sales- and never once had a refusal or an issue.

This leads me to my last, and most important point.

CHECK ITRADER FEEDBACK.

Unfortunately, a lot of people posting stuff for sale lately are new members, members with not much forum activity, and/ or don't have itrader feedback.

If there is no itrader feedback I would spend the extra coin on something from a forum vendor OR ebay.

Seriously... I've had people on other forums gift me $500+ for items. Too many scammer stories on this forum lately.

Not sure if this was just ironic, but I sold my V1 radar to a Gavin Carter based out of TN. He paid up pretty fast, and I already spent the $$$ so there's no way he can withdraw it anyways :P...

Like i said he seemed really nice and normal, apparently it was his GF with his phone and she completely spazzed out over nothing

.... Damn! I think I just got jipped too

seemed like a really nice guy bought st coilovers from him last week and said it'd be here by Monday. Then I asked for the tracking number and he apologized cuz he was so busy...a day passed and still no tracking number and I texted him yesterday..no answer. Then again today. No answer
