Oil Catch Can
Hi all, just picked up a 2024 X5, and want to get a catch can on it ASAP. I have a Mishimoto on my (slightly modified) Civic Si, and it needs to be emptied once a year, so I assume the X5 will benefit from it as well. However, I cant find much info on them, especially installed pics. I'll most likely keep the stock intake for a while, so that's a concern, as it looks like some interfere with the hoses and housing for the stock intake.
These are the two I've found so far, appreciate any suggestions! https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-3...dard-flow-8oz/ https://burgertuning.com/products/oi...m240-m340-m440 Thanks! |

I am a fan of catch cans, have one on my Mustang and SRT, just have not done it on the BMW. Thanks for posting, you saved me some research time...

Do you think a catch can is still necessary, now that the b58 TU2 in the X5 LCI has direct and port injection to help keep valves clean? I have one on my other DI car, but was not planning on using on the X5 because of the port injectors.
