Will 18'' TE37 Wheels clear the CCB?
Hi all,
I'm on the fence on whether to choose the CCB or not. I know in the US that 19'' is required when ordering the CCB which makes it an 10k option rather than a 8k option. However all that I really concern is whether or not that my current 18'' TE37 would clear those CCB calipers? (Assuming my current E9x M3 set up will work on the car) Any guesstimate or logical inputs are welcomed. Thanks in advance.

Can't see it happening. The Brembo 380mm BARELY cleared the 18" TE37.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I think that 400mm rotor won't feet the 18 te37sl because the calipers are huge. I saw that people did 400mm CCB mercedes brakes on the 18" wheels but it is really hard to feet. So my answer - no.

I tried a set of aftermarket 19s on my standard blue brakes and those still rubbed, so if my 19s didn't work...you're 18's most likely won't either. But you never know..

19" Volk TE37SL on BMW M4
So I actually went and got the 19" Volk TE37SL and installed it on my M4. Fits perfect with no rubbing. Car is lowered on sport springs and clears the brakes. Get the 19" for CCB. 18" for steel brakes.
Specs are: Front: 19x9.5 (offset +21) w 245/35/19 Tires and 15mm spacers Rear: 19x10.5 (offset +22) w 275/30/19 Tires and No spacers Wheels tuck in perfectly with extra room. |
