Power steering vibration
I recently noticed each time i try to park my car (turning the steering all the way) my cars rpm goes down significantly and i feel that it wants to stall and steering vibrates. Any idea? I have 40000miles 328i2008coupe. Thanks for your help.

the whirling noise is the power steering pump or possibly just lack of power steering fluid. I don't know about the steering wheel vibration or RPM drop though, that is odd to me. You can technically drive the car without power steering so it shouldn't impact drivability

You will need updated power steering hoses. I believe pump to rack and one to the cooler. The hoses apparently dampen the pump pulses better than the ones we got in our cars originally.

Pump should be fine. Unless you find metal in the fluid or the pump sounds like its screaming and steering effort increases, I would be looking at the hoses mentioned.
