ECP Bargain ! LL04 oil

Thought id share this - triple X oil 5-30w LL4 5 litres for £13.65 + mann filter !

I know the oil is no big brand but hey for that price you cant go wrong .. I think the fekked up the prices as they usually bump that oil price to £39.99 + free oil filter. I picked the most expensive oil filter which is the mann one. Have searched around and you cant even get the filter for that price

I just ordered 4 tubs and 4 oil filters for £54 ! Bargain !!

discount code = "hot30" for the 30% offer

Its there standard stuff when you consider that a 205 litre drum can cost wait for it £1.99 per litre it is a good buy. Triple X is their own brand spec oil.

wow £1.99 that is really cheap, considering I change my oil around the 8-10k mark thought it would be a good deal with the free filters

Thanks for posting this, I've ordered the oil just to get the filter cheaper than usual lol. Will still be using Castrol as I usually do.

Are you guys using triple x oil in your bmws? I am skeptical using this in my 335D... as will only use Castrol Edge.

Triple X may well be made by Castrol or something and re-sold as an ECP own-brand, but at those prices, it seems unlikely. However, from any evidence that I have found with a quick Google search, there is no proof that Triple X is any worse for your engine than the Castrol.

Personally I'm going to stay away from it and stick to Castrol Edge, just in case.

I put this in our ML last week, and for the first time ever I have got 500 miles from a tank. Not sure if it is the oil or the new air filter or what? but I have never managed to get 500 miles before, usually tops out around 440-450 miles.

I drop the oil out every 6-8k miles in it, so thought I would give it a try, so far so good.
For £14 if it sounded noisier or used more fuel I would have just dropped it out and used Fuchs again or Castrol, but going to stick with it.

Trust me Triple X ist't Castrol, Castrol is manufactured in Belgium and they wouldn't entertain making lubricants for anyone else to be sold on a budget according to our rep who supplies us directly
