Looks good.

I fitted mine a couple of weeks ago. Took 5 hours including the electrics!

Towing anything interesting?

I've not looked at the electrics but I was back indoors within an hour on this part, longest bit was making a bolt on bracket for the backbox but luckily I had some sheet metal!

Not towing anything interesting.. This is my last car..

And the old ridiculously heavy track car trailer! Look at the car, front is up, arse down...unladen! I can't find a pic with the mk2 golf on it, luckily we don't have it anymore so it's just the top trailer at the moment. And a cycle carrier

Hi I want to get one for my e91. What wiring kit did you use? The dedicated canbus kit?

Did you buy it all from ebay? There is a seller on there selling these really cheap.

Have you towed with it yet, and would you recommend?

Many thanks
Mark

Rob,

If you remove the bar, you'll need the original cross member to replace it.

Cost?
Anywhere from £50 upwards, more if the dedicated electric box is with it.

the one that is fitted by the OP in this thread is £175 delivered on ebay, and the dedicated canbus wiring kit is £95.

I may be interested in buying yours if it is a fully hidden detachable (as above) one and its good value.
