Custom Aero Lip Splitter

Anyone know where to get one of these splitters, or knows of someone who can make custom splitters please?

Note, it's the exact one in this pic which I'm interested in. I've seen plenty which have 'cut' edges and ones that doesn't follow a curvature all the way around- not interested.

Any pointers would be great, thank you!

Sam
P.S. The 2nd pic advertising 'Concept Performance' are US based. I've contacted them over a week back and have had no response and nor does it allow the purchase of this on their website..

I've seen them I think on SSDD Teddys site also I think MStyle might do them in Carbon for around £360 I think it looks from memory fairly similar

Are you talking about this? If so, it's not what I'm after. You'll notice the pics form my 1st post are round curved on the outside. Everything else I've seen from Teddy and M Style are this shaped...

I've made my own recently, took a few attempts to get one right and I know its not the style you want, but I would suggest it to anyone to have a go. At the moment Im still rocking this one which is plywood, I want to remake it in ABS plastic but can't find a reasonably priced supplier

I've got to say for a mock up that looks fairly decent! But to get a good priced one in ABS you'd be talking high quantities

I would ideally want something around 9mm too but can only find ABS up to 6mm thick. Found somewhere that does an alright price but it's only 5mm thick and buying 3 sheets...

I would do it if it was for an E90. Unfortunately I don't have access to an E92 and I assume the curvature of the bumper and possibly mounting points are different

Thanks Josh. Yeah, I’ve had a thread going on now for about 3 weeks. Good number of people chime in including TEE but unfortunately all pointed towards M Sport the splitter, which I can get access to from almost anywhere. I’m gonna contact few vendors stateside but don’t have high hopes. I’m aiming to be the first person here with it atleast. #lowlife #moarlows #NowYouSeeMeNowYouDon’t – LOL!

Ah man If only. I’ll get my car back this weekend so I can try to get some measuring points for you?

The only way I could see it working is if you put the bumper on some paper/cardboard and drew round that and posted that to me.

Even so, at the moment I've only made it from plywood and I suspect you would want something better haha.

I might look into buying 5 sheets of ABS or something and see if I can make it worth it without having to charge a fortune for them.

I can ask for costs of flatstock carbon but 9mm is very close to max thickness for solid carbon. Potentially could get core put in but that could be pricey!

I only said 9mm as that's the thickness I'm using in ply. First one was 6mm and way too flexible, plus I personally think it looks better a bit thicker.

If using carbon I imagine it could be a lot thinner due to how stiff it is.

Flat carbon isnt stiff, its manufacturing that limits thickness.

Oh, fair enough. I hadn't considered carbon for my own as I was going for more of a budget option so havnt really researched it at all.

I can ask, im not sure if our place makes flat stock just to have, or if they would only do it to order. It might be cheap if its stock.
