F1 Motorsport carbon fiber interior trim (56k warning)

I picked up the carbon fiber interior trim from a local shop, F1 Motorsport. They had titanium and silver available also, but I think black carbon fiber on beige looks pretty good.

I always wanted to get the CF trim, but hate waiting in group buys, and I was able to pick up a set for the same price as the group buy price w/o waiting.

The only thing we had to do was modify the ashtray lid a bit, but no biggie. Thank you to LONGTRAN for the installation. Overall I'm very happy with it.

Here are some pictures.

http://f1motorsports.com/ It's not on the site, you have to call in, and it's best to speak to Chris. He can be contacted at chris@f1motorsports.com. Right now only trims are for E90 with and w/o iDrive

FYI..they come with the hardware also. For those of us with wood interior trim, you can not reuse the screws so the hardware is needed.

For the ashtray lit, I had it modified by dremeling off the clips under since they were too short to clip on and just double sided tape on there. There are other ways to make it fit, but that was the easiest solution in my eyes.

JDM for life, foo. I ordered another squash to use on the passenger side, haha. They have a new flavor too, called anti-tobacco. I got 10 of those for Long.

Wow that actually looks really good with the beige. It makes beige look not so boring.

Oh, and what's the squash? I know its the thing on the air vent, but what's the deal with that?

It was an inside joke between me and OC335i. It's made by a brand called GIGA, which all the JDM folks swear by. It's just an air freshener..in 'squash' flavor. They also have lemon, lime, musk, etc.

The iDrive knob is stock. The one from a 5 series is all leather I believe. Squash doesn't really smell like squash, it's kind of hard to explain, lol. It's not really strong at all, just a hint of it.
