Week 25 production for me with first week Aug performance center delivery. They wanted to schedule Aug 1, but I can't do it until Aug 8 so will be picking the car up then unless something happens.

Wow. You have you PCD date already and you haven't entered production yet? my SA is taking his sweet ass time getting me some dates and my car is almost out of production. As if the wait wasn't hard enough...

Meeeeee too! I've just been told by the dealer it should go into production in June.

Also, off topic, but I see you currently own an E92 M3. I drove one at the dealer before ordering and I absolutely love the look of the exterior, but driving it wasn't as exciting (to me) as the M235i. I love low end power and the way traffic is around here I'd never get to feel what the M3 is really made for on my day to day driving. Just curious why you're switching out? I'm still contemplating a CPO M3 btw, so please don't think I'm bashing your car.

No, it just says "your vehicle is scheduled for production, with no confirmed production date yet".

Nevermind, I'm a liar. I just called again and spoke to a human and I'm scheduled for week 25 as well!

Mine said this for over a month. My CA gave me no estimated production week.

Mine just said on carrier en route to port of exit.

Well..hopefully we're all in the same prod week!
Anyhow...the M3 is great. Its just at the end of its lease, and I like new toys, and I've always liked smaller BMW's (I have an E30 M3 too)
I'm hoping the M235 will be just as fast, and get better gas mileage than the E92.

Ah, understood. I really enjoyed my 1 series but there were a lot of things I didn't like about it as well. Now the M235i seems to have addressed all the things I did not like about the 135i and I'm ready to give BMW another chance. I think it's the best choice for me considering my relatively short work commute and I'll just be racing light to light anyway haha.

They had a PCD date within two (maybe three) weeks after the production week was set. Not sure if that is unusual or not. I was told not to buy tickets until something like 2-3 weeks before the scheduled date. I guess the 8th isn't set in stone, but they all sounded pretty sure about it. I even go an e-mail from the PCD going over the entire process.

Yep a prod number only so far......no vin as of yet nor does it show production has started. I did the deal mid april but dealer was out of allocation. Had to wait till May 2nd to get production number....been holding since. Never knew waiting would be so painful
I am told that PCD cannot be scheduled until I have confirmed dates or vehicle delivery

I am week 23 production and was given August 8th for PCD. They told me it might be earlier if it is shipped by the end of June. I received the email from PC with the confirmation and what to expect.

If the dates don't change, we should be there on the same day. Would be nice to meet a fellow forum member!

Anyone else planning PCD on Aug 8?
