I haven't had wheel locks for years. I don't think you need them unless you are in a high crime area.

ordered my car w/o wheel locks, though I do plan on getting a set at the dealer.

If you park in a garage at work or go out to dinner and park in a public place, even dropping your car off at the dealer overnight.

A few weeks back a picture of a CLA ( may have been the CLA forum ) a CLA was up on blocks with it's wheels missing.

It seems where I live a lot of stuff has been happening lately, handgun crime- freakin following home people from Wholefoods to rob them, daytime burglaries.

Not going to harm someone for trying to steal my stuff but will do everything to dissuade the creeps from looking at my stuff.

notime, I live in a very safe neighborhood but sometimes I got to a seminar in not as safe as an area or I go shopping so maybe I would want the wheel locks. Thanks for letting me know that you plan to get a set at the dealer. I do not have them on my current car but never thought about it before until I was building my new car.

No. The dealer may even throw you a set for free. Otherwise, they're easily purchased elsewhere.
