USB App issue and Snap in Adapter

When I try to run the apps, with my iphone always plugged in and running apps already, the car always asks me to start apps again. It is a pain. Will using the snap in adapter help?

For some stupid reason, the way the BMW Connected App is coded, it has to start from a cold boot to recognize your car. Having the snap in adaptor won't fix this issue. There are a few issues that are annoying like this. Like if you are playing a podcast on your phone, then connect it up to the car, you don't get the usual media screen in iDrive, you just get a skip back and ski forward button, and no ability to go pick another file to play. Only way I have figured out how to fix this is to quit the Podcast app on my phone, then it goes back to its expected behavior.

Same here for my iPOD 5th gen pulled into the Snapin Adapter. I have to acknowleged the BMW Connected App everytime I start my car. The one thing that does always work is the playing of my iPOD as an external device. It automatically starts up right where I left off playing music when starting the car.
