Trailering a car During a move Best Way to protect it?
Hey Guys Im moving from Florida to Kentucky and I was wondering the best way to protect my car?
Im going to be driving a moving truck with a all four wheel off ground trailer of course. Now I did this years ago with my old car and simply put a car cover on it and put extra grommets on the cover and pulled the cover tight so it wouldn't flap and NO Problem.. Im reading a lot online though that says that buffs out the paint and is not suggested. Next option was the whole Painters tape thing.. Yeah no. So I was looking at road wrap that most people use for track days etc? Anyone have experience with this? Also Im worried about the Windshield.. Any suggestions for that would be great. For that I may use Blue Painters Tape. Thanks in advance Matt |

More importantly, are you sure you want to move FROM Florida TO Kentucky?? :-). In all seriousness, if you would be willing to drive your car interstate, why would you be concerned about protecting it on a trailer? As a previous poster noted, most road debris will be shielded by your truck anyway.
