NorCal Caravan: Protecting your front bumper during Bimmerfest caravan?

What are you guys going to use to protect your front bumper from bugs while we head out down south?

I saw alot of people in the caravan last year use painters tape or have a clear bra installed for extra protection.

Blue painters tape is all you need unless you have a clear bra.

98% of the cars that roll to mfest in Las Vegas don't bother to "protect" their front. Even the very Nicely modded ones roll commando. Makes for better rolling pictures IMHO. If you haven't been in the caravan to mfest just take my word. Many of us go well north of triple digits. But to answer your question. Cheap would be painters tape aka masking tape. Tape off the whole bumper and about 15% of the hood. If you have an aggressive wheel stance then you can also tape the fender behind the wheels about 6 to 8 inches wide. Expensive would be clear bra. The shop can give you more info on that. See you at bimmerfest
