Bt Hub Netflix

I have a recently bought television which is not a smart tv. I also have a BT hub and You-View box. Everything is working ok. Now I would like to install Net-Flix. So my question is, if I buy a chromecast gadget do I need anything else? I believe my BT hub 3 has a built-in wi-fi. I do have surplus HDMIs and USBs on the back of the television. Any help and info. would be welcome.

Go get a chromecast. Plug it in the hdmi, use the USB to power it, the rest is irrelevant. Best thing I've bought in ages, use my ipad to stream Netflix.

Roku is nice. I have one of the older models since I didn't wanna rent a cable box for my bedroom. Between Netflix and Amazon Prime, there's always something on. Was thinking about buying a chromecast for my living room tv, but then I got Comcast's new X1 box and I'm absolutely satisfied with that alone at the moment

If your tv isn't a smart tv then you need to run the Netflix app on something eles like a pc / pvr / set top box etc. Your youview box is connected online and to your tv, can it run netflix? If so just use that box to play Netflix on your tv.

We use our pvr to run Netflix app on non smart tv.

BT hub is primarily a WiFi device, do you not use WiFi for your phone etc? Are all your devices hardwired Ethernet ?
