N20 question
The last turbo car I had was a 2011 Mini Cooper S. On a hot day, after sitting in heavy traffic, when you shut her down there'd be lots of creaks, pops and the cooling fan would turn on and run for five minutes. Today it was 91 deg f, stop and go traffic and when I got home and shut the 228 down, nothing, no fan running, no noises. The lack of drama sorta worries me. Is the N20 that much better of a engine that the BMW Peugeot engine in my mini ?

On an RX-8 forum in 2011, Eric Meyer from an RX-8 World Challenge team echoed that concern: "We ran a K&N style for a few races just because I thought this technology was the best.

Had an Audi TT back in the days and it had a turbo re-circulation pump that switched on after the car turned off.....The pump ran coolant to the turbo for a few minutes.....the N20 on this car doesn't seem to have that feature.
