TPMS (US) Help
2008 E92 M3 US model
I recently started getting: 604F Error transmission channel FL Logistic Counter 40 No matching error symptom Test conditions fulfilled Current diagnostic channel front left Error code: 60 4F E0 80 28 44 C5 00 00 55 Taking the advice of the Internet and needing to buy some parts anyway, figuring it banged around a bit in winter, I took a gamble on getting a new drivers side TPMS trigger/transmitted which attaches using three wires (connected to the same loom as the horn) to the inside of the wheel well liner. The wiring all looked good. The trouble is, I still have this light. Clearing the TPMS system just returns the same error. Well actually 60 4F E0 80 28 46 5A 00 00 5D but the same text. Already tried: - replacing winter tires for summer tires (so that rules out the valve-stem mounted sensor) - replacing the TPMS trigger/transmitter (so that rules out the receiver) - resetting everything via the computer Things I haven't tried - antenna (though if it was bad, I wouldn't have readings from the other three and all four wheels would generate errors, no? I also don't know where it is) - TPM electronics module - more detailed wiring inspection of the harness, etc (though it looked good). Any suggestions here? -M
