Pics of black 330D E90's with black vs chrome oem tailpipe trims?

I'm trying to make my mind up whether to go for the oem black 330D tailpipe trims or the chrome (matt alu-look) ones and wondered if anyone could post a pic of their car (black ideally) with either version so I can make my mind up please? Thanks, Scott

Pre LCI 330d had shiney chrome tips, LCI then went matt chrome.

Black tips were never OEM standard on the E9x 330d.....

Ahh right that's great, thanks for that. I can see them now by looking up the pre-LCI in realoem now

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...37&hg=18&fg=20

So the part numbers are 18307798780 and 18307549559

If you look at the LCI model, it does also list 'Black chrome' as an option?

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...18&hg=18&fg=20

with part numbers 18307604562 and 18307604563

I think I'll go for the chrome ones, it appears both pre-LCI and LCI use the same rear silencer therefore the pre-LCI tips 'should' fit on the LCI box, fingers crossed! Bit pricey for the trims, but that's to be expected

p.s Howdy fellow 'Scott' from Somerset!!

Hello there

Yeah you'll be fine as either tip will fit as the rear exhaust was the same through out

Black tips on silver

I just put the black chrome tips on my silver 330d in Australia after reading this thread and ordering the parts from my local BMW dealer. Looks just great with no more dirty black marks all over the matte silver OEM tips. Thanks for the info guys, I'm very happy with the new look.

As other member said, pictures?

I have matt silver and cleaned them so all good.

But would like to see how does black chrome looks?
