Install steering wheel w/o airbag?

Is it possible to install a sport steering wheel with just the airbag cover, no airbag? Will any errors pop-up?

You realize that the steering wheel airbag is like the biggest safety feature in your whole car? It's the difference between life and death doesn't matter if you drive safe, you never when someone else can hit you. Personally, id rather live then save $250
