Speedometer
So I was talking to an older guy and I was telling him about all the mods I have. I told him I have around 400 rwhp.
He said I have to be careful with my speed because the mods are throwing of my speedometer ? Is this true? |

The only mod I can think of that might throw off the speedo is changing tire size. easy enough to check your speedo against a portable nav or someone with a radar gun.

Tire size is the only factor.

To be precise: Tire size AND status of wear. A new tire has a greater circumference, thus rotates slightly slower at a speed compared to a bald tire at the same speed. So, your speedometer will overestimate your true speed with bald tires.
