So this is my first attempt at using plasti dip. pretty easy. not set yet so havent put them on the M235i. will edit post then!
note: 3 coats of black plasti dip and 3 coats of glossifier. first pic is of first layer of plasti dip

Was that sprayed from a can? A little bit too much of the "orange peel" look for me.

Can you get it smoother by applying lighter (and more) coats?

It looks like pure orange peel when wet. It will smooth out a lot once dried. Still will have some texture though, which can be a good look depending what you spray. I will be doing all the exterior emblems in the coming days and post once they are done.
