So I was pulled over today for rolling a stop sign. Officer was nice and just told be to be sure to come to a complete stop, so I avoided a ticket. So I'm at almost 6 years of driving without a ticket (I'm sure many of you have driven for longer without one). So just wondering what my follow BMW drivers ticket history is?

For some reason when I was 22 years old I was a cop magnet. No moving violations prior, and none since, but I got 3 speeding tickets in that same year. This was long before I purchased my 330i though, which is slightly surprising because I definitely drive harder now.

tickets + warnings probably around 40-50, if you count verbal warnings probably 50-60

past 4 years i got 3 tickets and 4 verbals

In BC 30KM over the posted speed limit is excessive speeding. Automatic impound for 7 Days

Same here, no tickets for many years after college then just got a speeding ticket last month. It was a slow commute to work, I wasn't even enjoying myself. That's $150 less I have for mods, now.

I've only had 3 tickets in my 12 years of driving. I think they were all for ~10-14 over. The cop who gave me my second ticket also wanted to search my car for heroin. I was taken by surprise as I don't look like a junkie but maybe it was because it was late at night and he was a small town cop?

I have none for the last 28 yrs 2 when I was 19 going well over 80 in a 55 mph zone. I was using a whistler detector when I was pulled over then in my Datsun 280z I currently use an LI laser interceptor and Escort smart radar detector. Technology has changed for the better.

Lol. Just last night while arguing on the phone with my girl. Guess I was a little distracted from looking at the speedometer.

Last ticket before that was Thanksgiving morning 2012 about 2:30 am. I had just torched a new Charger R/T as I was at about 130 mph + before I completely let off , and we were the only ones on the Beltway, and as I'm letting off going through the toll the speedo was at about 100 mph at that point. Cop said he had to hit about 130 mph just to catch up. Gave me a ticket for 80 in a 65.

I've been driving about ~17 years.

I have received 1 warning ever for making a left turn in no left turn. I was lost.

I have received 6 moving violation tickets.

- 64 in a 30 - 1970 Mercedes 280S (First Car) when I was 16. I cop to this one no contest.

- Rear ended someone in NJ at the shore the first day of vacation in my dads brand new Merc. when I was 17. I ran out to the store to get some food for he and I. Coming back, a Camaro stopped so short it locked its rears and smoked tires then made a quick left and took off. I hit the car between him and I. I was cited for following too closely. The woman I hit even asked the cop not to cite me because it truly wasn't my fault and she knew I was going to be in enough trouble for wrecking a 2 week old Merc that had 700 miles on it. Cop said he "had" to cite me since there was a collision. I don't feel it was right that I was cited, but I did hit her.

- 70 in a 35 - 1987 Chevy Camaro (Second Car) when I was 18. This was a Cop making up blatantly false and physically impossible story/numbers. He was a complete asshole and gave false statements in court. I didn't do this.

- 79 in a 65 - Some shitty rental car on I-81 in VA about 10 years ago. I was not on the gas and was going down a mountain. Cop kind of a d-bag. Set up a mandatory court appearance so I had to drive 4 hours back to this podunk town in VA.

- Running a red light - 2003 GTI 5 years ago. This was also bullshit. Cop and 2 cars after me ran the red light. I went through on yellow. She pulled me over. Both of the other cars that ran the light were also silver hatchbacks.

- 45 in a 30 - 2008 Impreza 4.5 years ago. I cop to this one no contest.

Nothing since. Knock on wood.

40KM over is excessive.

I haven't gotten any tickets or warnings yet in my 3.5 years of driving. Knock on wood.

Got 9 tickets in 30 days, payed $1200 in fines, then later found out my license is scheduled for suspension for 12 points, I just got out of that suspension. My car is a cop magnet for sure.

got my first ticket since i got my bimmer last year. 30+ over. im waiting for the ticket cost its so easy to speed in these cars! last one was probably 3 or 4 years ago.
