Enabling DRL on 2007 335XI (E90?)

what is required to enable DRL on a 3007 335XI coming our of the US?
reprogramming, installation of relay or other?

Without iDrive? It's done through the turn signal stalk. With the car on, but not started, depress the button on the end of the stalk, then use the rotodial on the stalk to move up and down. Use the button again to select options and make changes.

You might want to invest a few minutes reading this section of the manual - there are several settings you can select in the same menu tree. You might want to make a list of preferences and knock them all out at once.
