Question about my rear deck-e92

Hi guys, I drive a 2011 e92 335i and am loving it. After hours of searching for which speaker setup I have I can simply not figure it out.. anyways here are some pictures. My question is my bass. The bass is extremely weak and im questioning whether my sub under the seat is blown or not. In addition the rear deck speakers are only shells and are completely empty as I bought the car used. Perhaps this lack of speakers is effecting my bass? I am unsure what speakers are currently in as all of them were changed and I bought the car used, I wanted to know what my options were as far as increasing my bass. Thank you.

They might have disconnected the subs under the seats, and had subs in the trunk. The grilles on the rear deck are either just for sub pass through, or, more likely, for some Boston pro sets. The probably pulled those, and their subs, possibly some amps, and left the smaller drivers for you.

I'd post in the audio/video forum for guidance, and include what type of audio you have, either via a picture of your headunit, or running your VIN.
