Educate Me: 328i vs 335i

Sorry if this has been asked before, search didn't show any results.

Looking specifically at E92's,

Apart from the engine & exhaust, what else is different for a 328i compared to a 335i?

standard equipment:
335 sedans have xenons standard vs 328 sedans have optional xenons
all coupes have xenons though
various wheel differences

probably subtle suspension differences too

Ask @westchester335i (Feeding troll time)

W--3358i, obviously knows a lot about both cars.
I mean 335i come on. Tell us why you didn't get a 328i?

Nothing, I've had a e90 325 and an e90 335, you can get every option on either and they will even look the same. Keep in mind I now have a 135 and will never again own or drive a 328.

328...less horsepower...less complex engine...less problems...less equipment...less exhaust pipes...less catalytic converters...less brakes...less brake dust on the wheels...less mods available.

328 is a solid machine.

Basically the 335i is a more performance drive 3-series than the 328i is.

Some comestic differences, but I think you can get those in a package. Chrome vertical slats in grill for 335i.

Even the M - 3 series? Is a 1 series considered below entry level then?

Entry level would be a stock 328i Sedan with no packages. Coupe and convertibles are not entry level. Either way now the 3 series is more expensive than 2 and x1 series plus there is a 320i.
