Off topic but what kind of finish do you have on yours? Any pics? I'm trying to figure out a color for mine.

Bright silver. I took this picture at sunset so not a lot of sun light hitting the rim. They are a bit brighter than what you see here, but not as bright as hyper silver. So far the finish has held up very well, not a single nick with over a year of driving. I still do prefer the hyper silver look as it provides a better, shiny contrast against space grey. With my past experience of hyper silver not holding up well at all(had AG refinish them after dozens of rock chips after only 150 miles) I'm quite hesitant going that route again though. If I do I will make sure to have an additional protective coating put on. Are you having issues with hyper silver too? I am considering getting my bent rim fixed professionally and may let the set go for a reasonable amount. |

Mine are on the way, I'm going to get them powder coated before I get tires mounted. I'm leaning towards a metallic gunmetal silver/grey but I'm very indecisive. There is a good repair shop in Carrollton, and they will coat them all too.

If you're talking about Wheel Repair Solutions I have already talked to them and they can't guarantee a 100% fix, but if I don't find a cheap replacement rim in the next couple of days I will give it a shot. Despite the bend there's surprisingly little vibration even above legal highway speed so maybe they can get it straight enough to eliminate all of the vibration.

I decided to give it a shot to have it professionally repaired before spending the money on a new rim and refinish. I had WRS do the work and after just having picked up the car it seems they did a good job. Apparently they needed very few weights to balance the wheel which is a good sign. I have not yet taken the car up to hwy speeds, but at low speeds I do not notice any vibration as was the case before.

Sounds good, I've only heard positive things about them. I just dropped mine off there an hour ago. Decided to go with this finish:
