Curious what you obtained for your build's ED invoice price? With a $74k US msrp (I think you forget to include $500 for park assist), I got $64686.15 + $2500=$67186.50 roughly. Are you paying taxes upfront, b/c with the numbers you provided, your base payment ranges from $778-$796

Well with the $74,000 MSRP.

If I pay at the figure you mentioned which is about $67,180, I'll do that calculation as well, although I'm paying about a thousand less than due to a MSD trick, (put money down to hit the 750 mark so I don't have to give 800 x 7 and instead 750 x 7 times). Now I live in Oregon, no sales tax.

$74,000 x .58% = $42920 for the residual.

If I'm paying $67,180 and subtract the residual for the 3 years I get:

24260 / 36 = 673 base monthly.

To get the interest: Add residual and cap cost and times it by the MF which in my case is .00111.

67180 + 42920 = 122 monthly. 673 + 122 = $795 for that situation. 36m/10k a year!

For a stripped model with 6MT and a MSRP of 64,000.. I got a payment of $690!!!!

Yeah, $796 ($778-$796) is what I noted. I refer to the "base payment" to include the rent and interest combined. Since you don't have sales tax in Oregon (lucky!), that is your monthly payment. In PA, it would be "base" plus 9% tax=monthly.

I wasn't aware of your $1k cap cost reduction to reduce your upfront MSD. I know the "trick." But what's really $700 more in MSD when it's completely refundable. That $1k will be lost and you'll have to pay tax on it as a dp (at least in PA you do)

Oh I see.

Here they referred the base monthly as with no interest :P
I wouldn't say it's 1k exactly but in the neighborhood of a couple hundred to reduce the payment to 799 or 749 respectively in order to not pay the extra in MSD's
