Brushed aluminum or Hexagon aluminum trim?

About to order a Grey Metallic with Red leather interior. Can't figure out which trim will look better. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Marc

Hands down, Hexagon. I was about to order brushed aluminum for a recently ordered M235 black, then I sat in one in the showroom with Hexagon. It's a hundred times better looking, especially with red, which I ordered.

Also hex apparently is a lot more durable.

Interesting.... I may have thought that hexagon would be a little too busy with the red and not as "clean". From what your saying, not the case huh?

Thanks.

I have a 335is and always thought the finish of the trim looked uber cheap. I assume the hexagone in the 235i will be similar. Went with brushed aluminium. I had a 2008 335i before and the trim held up pretty good. Ordered my 235i same color as yours. Doing European delivery in May. Planning in hitting the Stelvio pass

You could also just have it wrapped in carbon fibre which is what I plan to do

Ordered brushed aluminum with Coral Red on my GS. They had a 435 in the showroom with Hex and IMO it looked cheap. This is one of those choices where it's 100% personal taste. I've had brushed aluminum on several BMW's and never had a wear problem. I didn't like the texture on the Hex and it looked like snakeskin to me and I'm not a fan of snakes.

I opted for brushed aluminium with coral red interior for my mineral grey M235i.

I saw the hexagon trim in a 4 series at the showroom and in my opinion it was awful. The brushed aluminium isn't great, but I don't think the wood trim works well with coral red and it becomes a little bit too busy with all of the other colours going on, so there wasn't much choice!

Hopefully Stelvio will be open. It often doesn't open until mid-late May, sometimes later...or so i've heard.

Wasn't aware of that (haven't planned all the details yet). Going to have to check that. Going with a buddy who is borrowing a Ducati Monster for a week. Would be massively disappointed if couldn't do the Stelvio
