OSS Angel Eyes

I recently purchased weisslict bulbs for my e90 LCI with xenon. I have to say I an underwhelmed. At night time they look great but during the day you can't see anything at all. I was thinking about returning these and upgrading to LUX but I don't want the same results as the weisslict. After thinking it through I think the best thing to do is to go big or go home. Problem is I cant afford the downtime. Does anyone know a place in the South Jersey and Philly area that does OSS?

OSS is the company that does it, you would most likely have to find someone that would be willing to either pry open or cut your headlights and replace the stock rings with LEDs.

I'm using Lux V4 right now and I am happy with them. They are really bright but in direct sunlight you can't really notice the outer rings. But cloudy day or not so bright day they are noticeable. OSS method (I can't justify spending that much on the headlights really) or the Orion V4 (runs about $300+) self install would be your best bet for max brightness that can't be beat.

There are several DIY for Orion ring installs I believe. Seems straight forward and I plan to do it in summer, only tricky part I see is getting the headlight housing opened up and sealing it back correctly.

You should try doing it yourself you could save some money. Get the halos from umnitza or lightwerkz

I've wondered about these, they seem pretty solid but I haven't see anyone mention them on the forums, also fishcake the seller on ebay sells a nice looking led angel eye kit at a decent price.

I would refrain from ordering from umnitiza, I had a terrible experience with them along with several other members of e90post and other fourms.

I'm having a similar dilemma about either going with Lux which I think is kinda expensive for 2 bulbs, or opening up my lights and doing a retrofit myself. I'm just kinda hesitant about opening up an oem set of lights and modding them. I'm wondering if doing such a mod would add value or take away value of an oem part.

You should probably make the trip to North Jersey and have Caesar at lightwerkz do it for you. Unless you are comfortable taking apart your headlights, removing bumper, etc. The price they charge for the quality of work is more than fair

You'd have to ship them your headlights, or find a group buy I think. You're comparing salmon roe to beluga caviar- OSS is top of the line for angels!

Decided to contact up north to lightwerkz. Installation of the orion v4 totals $785 plus additional $135 if I take it up myself and they remove the headlights. This doesn't include any other custom work totaling $920 before taxes even though I'm local. Think I'll pass lol. But it is good to know the pricing for the location.

wow they didnt even return my call yet. Thats way too much. They charge more than OSS. I found another place called Lightmodz in Paterson. They deal straight with OSS. I been calling and leaving messages. I'll make the trip for 800$ thats including orion v4 with blackout and removing the headlights.

Def will I plan on doing mine around may or june but i refuse to get ripped off haha OSS charge $650 for orions and blackout. I think $150 for removing my lights and putting them back is more than fair. I called this other place called Auto Couture Motoring i asked for orion with blackout and the turn signal they said no more than 1500$ I said wahhhhhh.....
